Hi David,

I've been studying Blues for Paul De Lay for a month now, almost done.

In your video on the 5th chorus you talk about the 6+ 9+ octave and the powerful sound of those octaves.

I've been practising with a small amount of tremolo on those, in acustic.

Now I play through an lone wolf harp break and of course with some drive added.

The 6+ 9+ octave comes out with a really powerful sound but the surrprise is that the tremolo present in your

mp3 track is exactly what I get, without forcing it. I tried without the pedal and discovered that the drive of the

pedal makes that sound to happen. I wonder that in that circuit there is something acting as a gate that stops some frequencies when driving the sound. It sound great.

Hello luckyharp. Cool. Can you describe what the "harp break" does? I have not used it.

Hi David, Harp Break is a

Hi David,

Harp Break is a effect pedal similar to his brother Harp Attack, both sold by Lone Wolf company.

It has 3 knobs: Drive, volume and bass.

The drive makes your sound similar to that coming out from a vacum tube amp, if you go up with it the distorsion increases.

The volume is used to compensate the action of the drive.

The bass knob boosts the bass up to 20 db.

In substance this pedal makes your tone big. Now instead of using the amp emulator on my small vox mini amp, use a neutral "line" input in the amp cause the pedal is already doing the job.

Thank you luckyharp, that sounds like a good pedal to have on hand.
