Hey Hank.  I recently picked up HarpNinja and it is really great and seems to be the best harmonica bending app overall.  You mentioned you can't get it to work on your Macbook Air, are you trying to get a demo on your Mac or did you purchase the Mac App Store version here:

Are you running Intel or Silicon, what year and OS version?

Just a note that I asked the dev for a demo for my Mac and there is not one, only for Windows.  He was very nice and responsive to inqueries but unfortunatley with the Apple App Store being what it is he could not offer a trial for the Mac or iOS versions, nor could he do bundle pricing so each version of the app has to be bought individually which is a huge bummer since they are pricey (but worth it!).

There IS sort of a way to demo HarpNinja (Diatonic) on your Mac, see list below - Paul put up a nice web version.
