I took my A Harp apart for cleaning yesterday as it was gummed up.  I put the reeds in a weak vinegar solution, rinsed it fully, re-assemled and find I can no longer bend anything.  It draws hard now too.  I cant see any kind of problem.

Any ideas?

Gary

Its the reed plates

Gary dont want to offend you as I dont know your level of experience is so I would disassemble and reseat the reed plates. Depending on your harp it is easy to get them the wrong way around.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwWeN14TmXs

Airtight re-assembly?

Make sure the plates are seated flat on the comb, that all screws are inserted, and that they are figer tight- tight enough to resist funer pressure on the shaft of the screwdriver.
