I bought this amp about a year ago and I was waiting to see the review.  I own a Kalamazoo and the harp train.  I have Been playing for 2years.  For me personally I don’t Like the way the Harp train sounds, but was unable identify what I dIdnt like. My description is that it gave a hollow sound.  At my current ability level I always choose to play my Kalamazoo.  Just thought I would share my thoughts.

Isn't the Kalamazoo a lot

Isn't the Kalamazoo a lot more expensive ?  I have the Harp Train 10 and I like it ... but it's the first amp I've ever owned.  Dave didn't give it much of a review - wish I had seen these reviews before I bought an amp - I had no clue.  For me it's a good start - since purchased a Bassman which I am working on - wow big sound - before I changed the tubes - couldn't turn it up past 2 without shreiking feedback. Also purchased a Fender Champion 40 for $150 - bigger speaker than the 20 Dave reviewed.  Nice to have for several different instruments - nice to have reverb - doesn't have quite the depth or tone of the all tube amps.  Also received a Fender Champ 1957 for a birthday present - pretty damn cool - its older than I am.

Cheers Otis
