Hi all,

I‘m Claus, 48 yrs, and just bought my first blues harmonicas about a month ago. With the help of this great site and Davids great teaching style I am close to finishing (hopefully ;-) level 1 shortly.

So, I have discovered that at the end of this year there are harmonica master workshops in Germany. I really regret David will not be there, but still: Can anybody give me some advice of what experience level, or LOA, is recommended to participate in the masters workshops? It looks like a great event, but of course even after another 10 month of learning I will be anything but a Master.

Any recommendation or experience is appreciated!

Thanks, Claus

Hi Claus

I would say go for it. For sure you will learn something and, what is most important, meet people. I thought the same for the Edinburgh harmonica workshop 2 years ago, but when I came there I realized that was far from a begineer level (I was at LOA3 at the time). Also, it helped me to see where am I with all of this and showed me me that this is best harmonica school out there.CheersGoran

Hi Claus,  The HMW is a pretty special experience.  Just being around so many accomplished and humble players is an experience you will never forget!  Try and check it out if you can.  Best regards,  Joe Filisko
