I've noticed that I have a tendency/habit of pushing the harmonics forward with my tongue and jaw. I realized this when I was using the tongue block trainer and then practicing with the harmonica. I'm having a hard time breaking this habit. Any suggestions?

Hello ELH. Usually when a player is pushing their tongue again't the face of the harmonica, it's because they're trying to block the holes of the harmonica with more of the front of the tongue (tip). If you use more of the top of your tongue, it's wider, and will allow you to use much less pressure to cover the holes. Tilting the face of the harmonica downward also helps.
