Hi David

I'm using Hohner crossover harmonicas,  but would like to try a different harmonica just for a comparison is there any other you would recommend me having a go with?

Hello Roger. You have the best out-of-the-box harmonica. If you want to get something better, look into a custom harmonica. Give https://spiersharmonicas.com or https://rsleigh.com/custom-harmonicas/ a look and give one a go.

Andrew Zajac custom harps

Roger, you also might try custom harps by Andrew Zajac who also is a Hohner Affiliated Customizer. Rockin' Ron carries both Zajac custom Marine Band Deluxes and Hohner Rockets on his website.
