This coming weekend is the Grafton Paramout blues festival, Friday Sept 5 and Saturday Sept 6.

www.graftonblues.org/paramountbluesfestival/

Joe Filisko will be holding a harmonica workshop on Saturday starting at 2PM.

Jim Liban will be performing on Saturday at 7:15PM.

I'm looking foward to meeting them and perhaps other harmonica greats.

My festival experience update

Got to hear a lot of great blues yesterday. I attended Joe Filisko's workshop and while I was sitting there a guy comes in and sits next to me. I look over and it's Jim Liban. Unfortunately he had to leave early so I did not have a chance to meet him. However got to meet Joe and talk with him after class. It was cool actually meeting him in person. Later in the evening Jim played with his band. That was nice to hear him live.
