I've seen a gibson ga-5 2004 used for 450$ in the a store near me. Really good condition.

Suppose to be hand-wired, point-to-point.

Is this a good amp for harmonica?

Is this a good deal?

Thanks

Maybe

There were actually several different models of the Gibson GA-5 - one of which was identical to a Kalamazoo Model 2, which is an outstanding small harp amp. After all they shared the same parent company, Chicago Musical Instrument co.

A lot of single-power-tube, single-pre-amp tube amps like these make good harp amps. Some have 8" speakers, some have a 10" speaker - 10" is definitely preferable. They are all great for practice, low-volume gigs, recording - but they are still 5W single speaker amps. Don't expect to be heard, or worse, be able to hear yourself on stage in a typical jam scenario.
