Metronome

Did you use headphones? If not, then the sound of the click comes out of the speakers and gets picked up by the mic along with your playing. Even if it's really loud in the hadphones it can get picked up.

Hearing - and paying attention to - the metronome while you record can help keep you in time.

If you really want to turn off the metronome, check this out:https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-get-rid-of-the-metronome-in-ga...
