Garage Band
Hello David,
I am trying to use Garage Band (version that came with 2010 Mac Book Pro) to submit recordings for LOA 4. All of my recorded examples are in the same Garage Band Project. Each time I try to convert to MP3 the selection (as an MP3) plays for twice as long or longer in iTunes as it does in Garage Band. In fact, in my first attempt the created MP3 played the selection twice within an approximately 5 min duration. The selection is actually about 2 min 30 sec.
Can you advise me as to what I may be doing wrong? I don't want to submit selections that are twice as long as they need to be.

I'm also no expert, but you should update both Garageband, and, probably your Mac's operating system. I'm using OS X 10.11, and Garageband 10.1.2 and don't have any problem, with a Mac Book only a year newer than yours.

Hello Dorothy. I'm sorry, I don't know what is causing this. I looked into it, but didn't come up with anything. I'm not very familiar with GB, so don't let me discourage you from looking further for an answer, it's probably out there. Sorry I couldn't help more.
