Hello all, I can figure the key of a song, by trial and error, hit and miss, etc. But I wonder, is there a website where one can list the artist, album name, and be given the keys of the songs on the album. There must be such a service.

"I am looking particularly for the key of songs on the John Prine album, In Spite of Ourseves". Thanks for any and all help.

To figure the key of a song

The best way I know to find the key of a song is to pick up a C harp, then slowly play a major scale until you hit upon the tonic.

The more you do it this way the easier and more quickly you can do.

Other ways: Google "how to play [name of song]search for the song in sheetmusicdirect.com

Hope this helps.
