After watching the lasts Filisko's insights a question came to me
How Joe holds the harmonica when he is using a mic?

He opens the back... holds the mic in the left hand... just like we do.

Answer

I think you're asking of he includes the right side of the harmonica (holes 7-10 for example) into the cup? If that's what you're asking, no, it hangs out, just like his acoustic cup.
