Dear Mr. Simmons,

I got a silverface princeton, but the stock speaker seems a bit worn out to me. What would be a good speaker to improve the sound for harmonica?

Thanks.

Princeton speaker

S- Thanks for writing! Well, the good news is that there are loads of new speakers to choose from- all of which will sound fine.

A Princeton like yours can always use a little more low-end, so I would suggest an inexpensive ceramic magnet speaker like a Jensen C-10Q, Eminence Legend, or Weber Signature.

Of course, a repair guy like me would love to know that the amp itself is running right before changing speakers.
