Fender Pro Jr. - Valve switch

Hello!

I received to test a Fender Pro Jr. The amp is beautiful!

I wanted an opinion on the possibility of switch the EL84 valves for the 6v6 or 6L6.

Hello Nexo- Thanks for writing. No, that is not practical. First, the tube socket would have to be changed or an adaptor would have to be used. Next, I bet the bias resistor of the power tubes would have to be changed to maintain the proper biasing of the power tubes. In theory, a competent tech could convert the amp to 6V6s (not 6L6s) but it would be a big job and may not give you the sound you want.
