David,

I see you recommend the Fender Champion 20 as a good starter blues harp amp.  Someone in my area is selling a Fender Champion 110 PR 225. Is this as good as a Fender Champion 20.  Would this be good for Blues Harp with my new Hohner Harp Blaster.

He's selling the amp used for $75.

Thank you, Doug

Hello Doug. Not being a tube

Hello Doug. Not being a tube amp, it's not going to have the warmth of a tube amp (which the Fender Champion 20 is not either), but everything else about the amp looks good (controls and speaker size). For the price I think it's a great starting amp. Experiment with the drive channel, mixing different combinations of the volume and gain for a tone that you like.
