Enhancing playing Beginning Study Songs

David,

It would be interesting if you would take one of the Beginning Study Songs, like TEMPERATURE or WALK WITH ME, and play us a version that is more slightly more advanced in nature. I know when I have the opportunity to go back and practice these songs I will sometimes try to add some of the newer techniques learned (either add fills, some bends, etc). It would be interesting to hear where you can take some of these songs. Does that make any sense?

I do not have a plan to do this with "Temperature," but I did this with Walk With Me... it turned into Feelin' for the Blues (Bending Study 2)... and Third Position Studies 1, 2 and 3 as well. I would like to hear your updated version of Temperature with your new techniques learned. After you work it up, post it on Share... it's always fun to hear what students come up with.
