I am thinking about buying an Egnator Amp Head like the one that Gary Smith features on the site but amsearching for the right speaker cabinet to compliment the amp. Should the speaker box be enclosed or open-backed? Any suggestions? Thanks

Speaker Cabinet

Tommy,

An open back cabinet is best for harp, you will get a much bigger sound with better low end response.
Make sure that the cabinet depth is not too shallow for full bass response, typical shaped cabinets should be
about 8 to 12 inches deep. Your choice of speakers will also be very important, use tens or a ten & twelve,
eights are good for recording but most sound weak on stage.
