Hi Winslow;

 You have suggested EastTop chromatics as a less expensive option than some other brands/models. Have you had personal experience with the EastTop Black & Gold 48. If so what did you like or not like about it?

Thanks

Seems good.

The one I have is loud, responsive, and airtight. I haven't played it much, so I can't comment on durability or service needs. At $145 from newharmonica.com, it competes with the Suzuki SCX-48 in playability.

Thanks Winslow. The EastpTop model...

...apparently leaves the factory with a flat sanded abs comb which I think is a real plus, contributing to It being airtight. Yeah at $145 from Danny G. it is almost half the cost of a 270 Deluxe which I'd really like to have, but with the holidays, it's currently a little out of my price range. Rockin' Ron has the Suzuki SCX-48 on sale for $190. Actually the other two SCX models are currently on sale as well. Decisions decisions;)
