My favorite British harp player, Duster Bennett.

I'm sure allot of you know his music already. For those who don't he was playing guitar, harmonica and drum with his foot in the 60s and 70s. The original one-man blues band.

Surprisingly, most US players

Surprisingly, most US players seem never to have heard of Duster Bennett. The fact that he was British and died in a car accident in the 1970s and recorded for a long-out-if-business record company probably don't help. There was a gap of a good 20 years when his records were unavailable. I bought one of his records in about 1970 and learned a lot from his playing - he was sort of like Jimmy Reed on speed and an impassioned singer - on top of accompanying himself on guitar, bass drum and high hat!
