Draw-bend on 8?

In Blues for Paul deLay, 3rd Chorus, there is 8 hole draw-bend, is this correct? I thought bends on the high-end are blows. I'm having difficutly with this, and get an extreme high-pitch when I try.
Hello avaccaro. Yes, you can draw bend the 8 draw... it just doesn't bend much (in the same way that you can bend a 5 draw, but it doesn't bend as far as a half step). The key is to focus on using the very front of your tongue, far forward in your mouth. This is very similar to the blow bending embouchure, so studying Bending Study 6, which teaches blow bends, will help.
