Fritz,

I bought a wood bullet mic from you years and years ago. it's great and I couldn't ask for anything more.

How do I tell if it's a crystal element or the other kind? I mean safely-- that is, without setting it on fire, driving over it or using chemicals?

Thanks

YOUR MIC

Hey Hey BLUES38,
NO FIRE! Good call... The best way to make the element ID would be for you to send pix of the mic to me. Close-ups of the grill's front under bright light or sunlight should do it. Email them to me at fritz@harpmicman.com and I'll see what I can see...
