Hi
I presently have MB crossover and Lee Oskar harmonicas. I am a beginner and the different size holes of the two doesn't seem to make a lot of difference when swapping between them.
I want to buy some other types to see how they play and sound. Would there be any issues with the harmonicas that are often mentioned, in regards to how easy it would be to change between different brands and models?
Thanks for any advice

Go for it

Most models of diatonic have the same hole spacing, even if the hole sizes differ.

The exception is Seydel. They make great harmonicas but they've alway had wider hole spacing than Hohner (and everyone else). This includes both their diatonics and their chromatics.

Even with that difference, I find it pretty easy to adapt to Seydel spacing, but I play all sorts of harmonicas of different sizes anyway.

However, some folks do have difficulty with size and spacing differences - along with any other differences that might exist - in cover shape, reed response, etc.

I get the impression that you're not among the folks who would experience difficulties with changing to other models, so why not go for it?
