Hey guys, is it easy to find a Crossover A harp, and is it easier to bend than a Special 20? I am getting better with bending buy I am still a beginner.

Hi Will, Both harps are easy

Hi Will,

Both harps are easy to find on the internet but the Special 20 is more commonly found in music stores, in my experience. I don't think there is any difference in terms of bending ability. They have the same reeds and reed plates. The main difference is the tone. The Special 20 has a darker sound due to the covers and recessed reed plates. The Special 20 also has a slightly different tuning scheme that favors rich chords. It's the same tuning used on the Marine Band and Marine Band Deluxe.

The Crossover and the Marine Band Deluxe are both great harps. They're brighter which works well for blues I think. I personally prefer the Marine Band Deluxe because of the tuning. But the Special 20 is also a great harp and about half the price. It's really personal preference. If you're a beginner and want to save some bucks, I say go for the Special 20. Lots of pros play them too.
