Hi David!!!

I am studying the chromatic song "Cool Blue",
i like it very much , and i have fun to play it :)

i have a question about the song at the 00,23' ,
i hear a glissando kind of sound without notes ( like TRRRRR )
can you tell me what produce this kind of sound ? :)

Answer

Listening around that time I am guessing you're speaking of the flutter tongue on the 5 draw. This is created by performing a slap many times over (tongue on, tongue off, tongue on, tongue off, etc. while breathing in the entire time). Reference Tongue Block Study 3 where this is taught.

1st Chorus, " V " chord , pick-up on the 6 draw
