How does anyone find out when a new contest is starting? I have no idea how often these contests occur, but the last few times I've been on the site, the contest has been Chromatic King (even though the contest had ended a while ago). As far as I know, there is no way to find out when there will be a new contest. Is this true?

I think David makes the

I think David makes the announcement about new contests in the What's New! section of the forum, well in advance.  If I recall, that's how Chromatic King was announced.
