Hi,

I have an older model of the 64 chromonica which needs a new comb.

My model is crosstuned, the lowest octave is marked 1 to 4, the following are marked 1 to 12.

The comb looks like some sort of laminate.

I dont have a case to help ID it.

Is it possible to find a new comb for this harp or do I have to find a donor?

Will a comb from a straighttuned model fit?

Is this a Hohner? What is written on the covers?

If it's a cross tuned Hohner, the modern black ABS comb should fit, available from the hohner C shop online. If it is held together with nails, though, you will have to remove the nails, then thread the lower reedplate for M1.6 screws. You can buy the Hohner screws, or get M1.6 screws 10mm in length.
