Chromatic draw note sound

I was listening the chromatic studies songs and in the song called The Big One, I became aware about the crispy sound of the 3 4 5 sequence.
How do you do that? Side pulls?

For example at the beginning

For example at the beginning of the 3rd chorus.
When you play the 3 4 5 6-3 6+ --3+ ...
The first 3draw seems a slap but the 4 and the 5 have a special taste.

Those are slaps as well... no other technique.
