changing tempo of jam track in garage band

I am unable to play the study song Temperature up to speed. Is there a way to reduce the playback tempo in Garage Band so that I can record at the lowered tempo? I know that I can change the tempo in Audacity to whatever I want, but I would like to do that in Garage Band if it is possible.

Hello Hank. I'm not familiar enough with GarageBand to help on this one, I use the amazing slow downer. If you use the  amazing slow downer you can slow down a jam track and save it as an MP3.
