Hi Winslow,

I have a G Crossover the has a 1 draw buzzing on the the cover plate when it's attacked quickly. Any ideas on reducing this problem?

That was easy :)

Some customizers have sophisticated ways of bending covers to make them higher and stay out of the way of wide-swinging reeds. And this finds its way into the Filisko-inspired covers of the Thunderbird and low-key Lee Oskars.

What I sometimes do is figure out as best I can the exact spot where the reed tip hits the covers. Then I take a punch and a small hammer and push out a little dome to create a little extra clearance for the reed.
