Brown Bullet Screws

Do you know of a source for screws for Shure "brown bullet" shells, model # 9846B? Do you know the size and can I get them a regular hardware store?

The Shure bullets all use the same screw, which is a #4-36 screw. That is a slightly unusual thread - #4-40 is much more common. I doubt you'll find it at a hardware store. I did order some from a hardware supplier but the heads were way too big - so the screws you need are going to be difficult to locate from a general source.
Here's the good news: You CAN get them from Shure - just call their customer service number 1 (800) 516-2525 (and press 3 for parts.) Ask them for the screws for a green bullet - the "brown" thing might throw them. Buy some extras while you're at it - they are easy to lose, aren't they?
