Hi David,

Any types on breathing during the GHS study song for those of us without Lance Armstrong's lungs? I feel like I'm going to pass out from oxygen intoxication.

Answer

Yes... this song is a very challenging song in regards to breathing. No tips unfortunately... part of this style is to play repetitive phrases and to not let up the powerful feel. Live, on the bandstand, if you feel like spit is building up and/or breathing becomes an issue, pass it off to the guitar for a solo at the end of a chorus (any)... gather your whits and back to soloing when the solo is passed back to you.

The saliva, squealing,

The saliva, squealing, gasping for breath, and the mouth soreness eventually went away on the diatonic. I'm hoping the headaches and wooziness will go away after a while of practicing this song.
