Bottle o Blues Microphone?

I am looking for a first microphone and amplifier. I am ready to play out at some blues jams, but I want to practice first at home with the amplified sound.
The Bottle o Blues seems like a good, affordable purchase. Jon Gindick endorses it and it sells with an amp for under $100. It seems to have a good sound and is small enough to be easily portable.
Can anyone tell me anything about the Bottle o Blues or point me in a better direction?

Hi Marc! I have one, it´s a good mic. It´s a standard mic but, because of the shape of bottle and because of the site where the capsule is placed, it sounds great, with little feedback.
I have a little Pignose 7-100 (5 watts, battery operated, 5" speaker) and it do the trick!
