Hi Dave. Really liking this site ! I'm not sure if it's me the harmonica or both. I can't seem to get the sound that I want playing my diatonic. For example. Blues for yesterday Charlie Musselwhite. Sad sad day Muddy Waters. She tried to ruin me snooky Pryor. What is it they're doing or playing that makes that sound?. Are they playing a chromatic?. I just don't know. But I'm sure you do. Thanks Luke

Hello Luke, I'm glad you're

Hello Luke, I'm glad you're enjoying your studies. All of these songs the players are using the standard diatonic harmonica. This is exactly the style I teach, classic Chicago blues. You need to be trained up... that's all... they're using the techniques I teach you on the site. Focus on the Bending and Tongue Blocking lessons. When you've completed both studies (through lesson 5), you'll be able to play everything you hear in those songs.
