Nope

They used to a long time ago, but if it says "M.S." then it's a completely different platform.

Thanx for your question Marko,

Wow, the "Blues Harp" ... that is what I used to buy back in the 70's, when Hohner nailed non-vented cover plates onto a standard Marine Band (#1896).

I believe it was in the early 90's that Hohner included the Blues Harp as part of their new "Modular Series" (MS in general turned out to be an failed effort to fully automate the harmonica production processes). Any MS diatonic Hohner harmonica components can be swaped with each other (including: Big River Harp MS, Pro Harp MS, Cross Harp MS, and even the Meisterklasse MS). For example, one of my favorite solutions for creating a "Marine Band" type acoustic voicing for the Blues Harp is to swap cover plates with the Big River Harp MS cover plates!

Thanks!!!

thanks for the detailed explanation!!!
very interesting the fact that the modular series is born for automation,
and not only for airtightness :)

in fact i see the reed plates that have more holes for screws(Blues Harp have only two),
and a big hole for other Hohner harmonicas combs and cover plates .

thanks

Best Regards
