David, In blues creeping over me, the last note if the 'blues break' you have written as 2 draw. I feel you have a reason for writing or playing it this way. As I am learning this song I find myself naturally using 3 blow. I work on changing the movement to 2 draw but if feels different and less natural in this progression. So my question then really is why? Beyond play what is natural. Note: TB bends are coming along nicely with tons of work and effort. They are feeling 'natural' now.

Lots more work and fun to be had.

John

Hey John. It doesn't matter in this case… play the 3+ if you like the way it feels and sounds. I like the 2 because of the pattern… you breathe in the 123 chord, play the 4+ and slide down to the 3+ (same breath), draw for the 3 and slide down to the 2 (same breath). Only three breaths are needed. This is what feels and sounds best to me personally.

2 draw better

After a little practice 2 draw is much better and sets up the breathing pattern leading to the shake next.

Thanks for your advice David.

Learning to do as the teacher does has great benefits.

I'm happy to help, that's why I'm here. It does pay to experiment though… options are nice to have.
