Thank you David, I have been waiting for the Blues Chromatic Study. Right now I'm studying the Amp Tone Settings lessons. I guess its very much the same for the chromatic harp?

All the best...............Troy

3rd Position & the 12 bar

So its play on a C Chromatic Harmonica in 3rd Position. (Dm - droian)
And the band (or my band) plays a D 12 bar blues with these chords.

D7 x4
G7 x2
D7 x2
A7 x1
G7 x1
D7 x2

So there are no major or minor chords for "No Sweat" study 1.

That's correct... but notice G of the G7 is a major chord... it's a G major chord with a minor 7th (known as a Dominant 7th, or Major-Minor Seventh). You can also have a turnaround at the end of measure 12, which would be the A7 for the last two beats.

9th & 10th bars (ii & V)

I have been playing around with the 2 blow on the V chord (9th bar) with a 12 bar blues, sounds great.

But on No Sweat theres a ii on the 9th bar & V on the 10th, the ii sounds like E minor?

I cover this in the video (or the next... can't remember off hand)... but the 2+ is the 5th of the V Chord and is the Root of the ii chord... so either way you're good!

You got it! And...

The ii7 chord (e7)
1 ...... b3 ....... 5 ......b7
E ..... G ..... B ..... D

P1... m3 .... P5 ... m7
E ..... G ...... B ..... G

Notice that it also can be thought of as a IV chord with a 6th in the root (IV6). You can basically play on the ii7 chord as if it where a IV chord and emphasize the 6th (which is the 2nd)... 2+, 6+, etc. This thought process is great for the diatonic harp as well. In this case we are not spending much time on this chord, but when a I, vi, ii, V progression comes up it's very handy to think that way.
