Cases exist on the market specifically built to carry harmonicas, but to carry a lot of harmonicas they’re commonly large and heavy. If you’re looking for something cheap and in a small package, look no further than your local stores. These three cases are from Target and Walmart, the most expensive one being $13 and the least $4. continue reading...

My student (thanks Dan) came in with a new case yesterday. It was a RedHead 2-Pistol Aluminum Gun Case, and it was a real nice size and weight, and well built. $50 bucks at Bass Pro shop (http://www.basspro.com/RedHead-2Pistol-Aluminum-Gun-Case/product/1308281...). The foam is perforated so that any shape can be pinched out and it fit his harps really well. continue reading...

Take a look at the pics I just posted at https://www.facebook.com/bluesharmonica of Steve's final design. Thanks for sharing Steve!

David's Tip of the Day: No Zip-Lock Bags

Posted Thu, 08/21/2014 - 08:17 by David Barrett Admin
David Barrett Admin's picture

Every now and again I'll see a new student use a small zip-lock bag to store their harmonica, or a large zip-lock bag for all of their harmonicas. Get rid of the bag, harmonicas need to breathe to vent the moisture from playing.
