David Hi. Wow you sure know how to challenge your students. :-)  The Big One Verse 3. 3rd and 7th  measures. The pull is 5432  DBAF. I find myself instinctively doing a slap 5432+ CCGE. These are very different set of note is that OK or not. Thank you in advance.

ps really enjoyed the interview with Jerry Portnoy. Great. Had always wondered who Big Nate was.

You're right, this is a very challenging song... but it is level 5! Yes, a blow pull there is fine. Since pulls are fast, and more of a rhythmic device, they carry much less weight in regards to pitch content. Sometimes it does make a difference in sound though, so experiment with both and see which sounds better to you. In this case, blow or draw both sound good.

I'm glad you like the Portnoy interview, I sure enjoy doing them.

Thank you David I continue to enjoy the challenges and lessons you provide growing my ability as a harmonica player. Looking back at  my first attempts at "Walk with me" to this point it has been and continues to be a great experience for me. Greatly appreciated.
