I saw some of the interviews on the website and I recall that on one of them David mentioned a 1st position tune which had an amazing tone to it, I remember looking it up and thinking the same but I can't find it again, if David is watching this maybe he can remember (or anybody else who was watching what I did), but anyways I thought it would be an oppourtunity to have some other people's recommendations as well.

Thanks :)

Mitch Kashmar?

Are you referring to the Mitch Kashmar interview?  I think David commented on his 7 blow vibrato/tremolo.

Mitch Kashmar:  Whisky Drinkin’ Woman. http://youtu.be/ltzCYimDfFw   also Dirty Deal (couldn’t find on youtube)

Here are a few other random ones…

Junior Wells:  http://youtu.be/cbYFn5RkX0U?list=PL17A447B2674EE9A3

Sonny Boy Williamson II: Trust My Baby. A classic.  http://youtu.be/DO6P8BFj1Xw

Gary Primich: Keep On Talking http://youtu.be/ZvwPOs7g2QI , Caress Me  Baby, Doghouse.

Kim Wilson: Bad Boy, Ludella (a Jimmy Reed tune, with Jimmy Rogers), Trust My Baby http://youtu.be/-c4BCgv7MeY

http://youtu.be/oGumB3HEhlE?list=PL17A447B2674EE9A3

http://youtu.be/wcsba8_z3Ac?list=PL17A447B2674EE9A3

Steve Guyger (among others) : I’m A Stranger Here (a Tampa Red song, if I’m not mistaken). http://youtu.be/-oVACAGVAv8

Lee Sankey http://youtu.be/IjvJou8tIXU

There are tons of other great examples out there.

And if you’re really interested in  First position, listen to

Jimmy Reed: Everything.

Rhythm Willie: http://youtu.be/4orCmvgijn8   He will blow your mind!
