Hello everyone! and happy new year!

well, I just wanted know which are for you the best sounding stock tube amps (harp-friendly, it's understood) in the market, without surpassing the 1000$ limit (a matter of budget), and able to cut through the band in small/medium gigs...

(Band: Drums, bass, guitar, harp/singer)

I've been thinking about the Fender Pro Junior, but I fear it may fall short...

any thoughts?

harpgear 30 or 35

I bought a harpgear 35 about 4 months ago and enjoy it. I paid 900 plus shipping (used, but in excellent condition). There's some deals to be had on reverb.com if you are patient. its a 35 watt amp and it's made for harp. The harpgear double trouble is excellent too. My friend has used his on tour for years. sometimes he has to mic it up, but for the size, tone, and quality it's a good buy.

Reissue Bassman

Check out the Bassman Chronicles on this website under Equipement. Used Reissues are out there for some very good prices. You just have to be patient. If you live in the states contact Mark Overman and see what he has. I'm sure he can help you and it will have "The Sound".

I have the Fender Pro Junior and love it!  Mind you, I'm a newbie!
