Hello,

I've just started learning how to bend and I'm having a few issues with it.

1) Sometimes i bend so much that I start hearing a very strange high pitch sound. What is that?

2)Sometimes I have trouble achieving the 6 draw bend. I either can't get it at all and I'll feel like I'm spending a long time on it without changing the pitch even slightly or I'll get it fairly easily then all of a sudden, without feeling like I've made any changes in my embouchure, the bend gets released. Other times I feel like I am tensing up while pulling in the air. Is it just a matter of doing more reps?

3)Also, is it wrong if your nose is open while bending?

Thanks!

Hello Francisco. Answers

Hello Francisco. Answers below...

1) You're going to far... stop before you reach that point

2) The 6 draw (and higher-note bends in general), require that you use very little movement, using more of thee front of your tongue, forward in your mouth (and like all bending... yes... thousands of reps)

3) Your nose must be closed while bending
