Three hole bend issue

I'm struggling with the three hole bend. I can get it down to A but when I do it sounds weird, not like my other bends. Are there any tips you can give me or will it just come with practice?

Thanks!

Hello chewytaco. The good

Hello chewytaco. The good thing is that you're getting the bend/pitch, so that's a start. Make sure you're not using excessive force... pushing your tongue hard against the face of the harmonica, using too much tension in your tongue, or playing too loudly. Use a light touch on the face of the harmonica with your tongue and lips, and breathe through the harmonica with the same amount of volume that you do while playing standard draws and blows. It's hard to say "relax" when you're learning a new technique, so a little bit of tension is expected, but excessive tension will only give you bad tone and a sore mouth.
