I'm new at this. When you bend on some hole, I assume it changes the pitch. Is the new pitch somewhere between the pitches of the draw pitch and the blow pitch for the hole. Can this pitch vary accoding to the position of the tongue in your moujth?

To answer your questions...
1) Yes, it does change the pitch
2) Yes, the pitch is between the higher reed and lower reed (4 draw D on a C Harmonica for example is higher in pitch than the 4 blow C, which gives you the note somewhere around Db)
3) Yes, your tongue controls the degree of the bend
In the lesson I mention above it links to a paper I wrote on the bending process, I highly recommend you read that as well as watching the video lessons.
Best wishes on your bending study.
