Hi Winslow...I get lots of burps in when I play. Any insight into this. Its hard to finish a line lots of the time until I can belch a few times. Thanks...Fran

Are you swallowing air?

Belching, or burping, is the release of air that you've swallowed, or gas, from the stomach through the mouth.

If you don't belch when you're not playing, then my guess is that you're swallowing air when you play draw notes. Do you notice that you're swallowing at any time during play, either while playing a note or in between notes or phrases? If you observe this, and can wok on not doing it, that might be a solution to the problem.

Hope this helps. It's completely guesswork on my part, though.

Possibly that is true. I will try to monitor my playing...thanks.
