I rebuilt a Kalamazoo. I replaced all electrolitcs, cleaned up sockets, removed death cap and added safety ground. The speaker and baffle board were shot so I made a baffle and installed a Weber Signature Alnico.

When making a new baffle I did not replicate the beam blocker. Any audio I'll effects this might cause? It's easy enough to make or 3d print one if it is advisable.

I would say that very little

I would say that very little difference, if any, would be noticed. I bet that Gibson didn't think it was a "beam blocker". It was just a way to make a cheap baffle a little stronger or cheaper to make!
