Bassman speaker upgrade. Help
I have watched the Bassman Chronicles and haven't figured out what David ended up using in his 1990 Reissue Bassman. I thought the Blue frame p10Rs sounded full bodied and even through out. (using my cell phone). The Jenson Jet tornatos sounded like they had to much base.
Were can I find the same Blue Frame replacment speakers for my Bassman?
Aside from the that I also watch Gary Smith in his video say he thought the Weber brand Speakers had better performance and were better priced.
I like the Idea of working on tone and cupping using equipment that has the proven ability. I agree you can make a lot of amps sound good with technique but first knowing its there eliminates that part of the equation. My Harmonicas are custom built and have all so removed that question of rather or not Im having difficulty with the equipment or technique.

Ill put the Bassmen a side for now...With two Eminence 50 watt 10" ceramic speakers this is all ill ever need. But the rig sound really good at studio volume. I also get great results just plugging the head directly into the interface to record. Couldn't be happier about this choice.
