Mr. Barrett:

I'm starting my 11th week of the Levels of Achievment Program and spend an hour to an hour and a half per day.

It would help me if I had a ball park figure as to the average length of time it should take to get through each of the following: Beginner Level 1, Beginner Level 2, Beginner Level 3, etc.

I have no point of reference so don't know when my playing should be good enough to take a test. I'm watching your videos of beginning student, Joe, to get an idea, but still would like your estimate of times.  Not trying to hurry it but just want an idea of what's reasonable to expect.  Thank you for answering my question.

Britt

Answer

Hello Britt. This is of course relative to a lot of factors, but generally it would be three months per level for beginning, 4 months per level for intermediate and 5 months per level for advanced. I look forward to receiving your submission.
