Audio + Video recording

Hello Sensei.
Can you recommend a basic platform for "Good" recording of either a performance (in my apartment) or practice session?
I'm interested in a nice and low budget option. What did you use to record your lessons? I do not have access to a computer based video editing platform.

I use a professional setup, but for self-assessment, and sending in recordings for my review, the phone works great. I use the voice memo app all the time for just that purpose.

one more item - the sound is what I want to focus on. The video can be "no bueno" but the sound has got to be great. The video is only so I can, obviously, see what I look like, más o menos, while I play.
