I am using this program to practice and record.
Is it possible to loop only certain sections of a song?

For example, I am working on FEELIN FOR THE BLUES and have imported the jam track into Audacity.
I am working on Chorus #1-4. Is it possible to loop just those Choruses?

Thank you in advance for anyone who may be able to assist.

Looping in Audacity

The help function in Audacity doesn't mention it, but a quick Google search yielded a few answers:

I hope this helps.

looping

Hi Peter
I use this program and yes you can loop as much as you like.
1 go to edit scroll down to play region and you can set what you want
2 go to transport and click loop play
3 you can also slow it down by going to effects changing tempo
Hope this helps Ron

Another Audacity Problem

Thanks Ron, extremely helpful!

I have one more for you, if you don't mind....
I imported the Jam Track for Feelin' The Blues.
If I hit play, I can hear it fine.
When I hit the record button, I can't hear the jam track! (First time this has happened).

Volume looks to be up...
Any quick ideas?

Thanks. (The Audacity help site isn't very helpful)!

Answer

Click. Edit, Preferences, Audio I/O, tick the box that says play other tracks while recording. Hope this helps.
